Hackisition

Hey, Welcome to Hackisition!

My name is Julien and this blog is kind of my diary. If you are looking to become a growth hacker or to learn more about this discipline, you are in the right place.

Julien Le Coupanec“ Think about it as my way of sharing the successful experiments I have conducted with others. The good thing about sharing is that you can get a lot of valuable feedback to improve your execution over time. ”

ALL MY EXPERIMENTS ARE AVAILABLE HERE

After dropping out from College, around October 2014, I started to work with GrowthHackerTV. We interviewed 180+ growth hackers including Sean Ellis, Brian Balfour, Josh Elman, Elliot Shmukler and Gagan Biyani. My job there, was to edit every interview (180+ at this time) and to summarize its content in a simple way. That’s how I entered this fascinating world: by listening to people who made it and by imitating them.

You can read my personal comments for every episode and discover the golden nuggets they shared by browsing the essay below. It is a huge commitment to read everything but I think it worths it. 📺

Then, I joined the growth team at TheFamily, an investment company that invests in startups (mostly early-stage). We have to work with many different types of services: SaaS products targeting other businesses, marketplaces that deal with important network effects, mobile apps aiming for consumers that try to stand out from the crowd… Each day, there is an opportunity for us to learn more from an experiment or to test/optimize a new idea.

I hope you will take pleasure by reading my essays. Growth hacking is not a shiny thing that seems too good to be true. There is a real mindset hidden behind this discipline and a lot of fascinating new skills to master. The two following articles are a great introduction and I recommend that you read them.
